Late May sees the return of SoSure Music co-founder Hollis Parker to the label with his latest EP ‘Have You’, comprised of two tracks from the New York born, London based artist.

Since his vinyl-only debut on SoSure Music in 2015, Hollis Parker has managed to consistently put out material that pays homage to his roots both in Hip Hop and House, garnering sup- port from heavyweights such as Larry Heard, DJ Sneak, Charles Webster and Joyce Muniz to name a few.

Building on his repertoire of Hip Hop-inspired House, Parker leads with ‘Have You’, a jazz- fusion backed foray into Deep House that begins melancholy but quickly leads into a summery, string-laden groove with sultry horns and an appropriately soulful vocal cut-up. ‘Got A Way’ fol- lows this up perfectly, featuring oaty pads, a gorgeously-chopped Rhodes riff, and a swinging bassline that come together with a rm tip of the cap to his roots.
